Hyderabad: A delegation of prominent civil society actors SindhNet Council members visited the DEPD–NDF Rehabilitation Center in Qasimabad, Hyderabad, to observe the ongoing services and rehabilitation initiatives for children with disabilities.
Mr. Abid Lashari, President of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) and member SindhNet Council, briefed the visitors about the center’s comprehensive services, including rehabilitation, therapy, and support for children with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual disabilities across Sindh.
The delegation of SindhNet members comprising Mr. Akram Khaskheli, Mr. Muhabat Mangrio, Mr. Abdul Hameed Arain, Mr. Noor Mangi, and Mr. Shahzad Khaskheli—expressed deep appreciation for NDF’s impactful work. They commended the center’s commitment, dedication, and continued efforts towards improving the lives of children with disabilities and supporting their families.
The visitors highlighted the importance of strengthening such initiatives for an inclusive Sindh and assured their support in advancing disability rights and rehabilitation services.
