Malir, Karachi: Mr. Abid Lashari, Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA), visited the DEPD–PDSA Rehabilitation Center in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. During his visit, Mr. Lashari toured various sections of the center and met with parents to inquire about the quality of services being provided.
He appreciated the efforts of the dedicated staff and emphasized that PDSA, in collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, remains committed to supporting and rehabilitating children with intellectual disabilities through this center. He further noted that free services are being provided to families from remote and underserved areas.
Mr. Lashari acknowledged the commitment and passion of the rehabilitation team and parents who are working together to help children achieve meaningful progress and inclusion in society.
