Hyderabad: Renowned Physiotherapist Dr. Muhammad Kumail Shaikh visited the NDF Rehabilitation Center in Qasimabad, Hyderabad — a joint initiative of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh. On this occasion, Mr. Haji Abid Lashari, President of NDF Pakistan, briefed him on the free rehabilitation services provided at the Center for children with intellectual disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, CP, and Dyslexia.
Haji Abid Lashari told that the center offers free-of-cost services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychotherapy, and other essential treatments.
Dr. Kumail Shaikh said that the rehabilitation services are in need of an hour, and the free facility is a blessing for every child. The work being done here is transforming the lives of children and their families.”
