Larkana: Mr. Abid Lashari, President of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan, held a meeting with Mr. Tahir Hussain Sangi, Divisional Commissioner Larkana.
During the meeting, Mr. Lashari shared the progress and ongoing activities of the NDF Rehabilitation Center in Larkana Division, which provides free rehabilitation services to the children with intellectual disabilities in collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh.
Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain Sangi appreciated NDF’s efforts and highlighted the urgent need for assistive devices in the Larkana Division. He acknowledged that while NDF has been supporting persons with disabilities through assistive devices, the demand remains significantly high.
In response, Mr. Abid Lashari assured that NDF, in collaboration with the DEPD Department, will soon organize a distribution event of assistive devices in Larkana to meet this growing need.
