The NDF Rehabilitation Center Nawabshah organized a special ceremony to honour Mr. Abid Hussain Lashari, President of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan, on being awarded the prestigious Pakistan Civil Award Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his outstanding services in the disability and development sector.
Speaking on the occasion, the management and staff of the NDF Rehabilitation Center praised Mr. Lashari’s unwavering commitment, decades-long dedication, and visionary leadership in promoting the rights, rehabilitation, and inclusion of persons with disabilities across Sindh and Pakistan. They stated that his recognition with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz is a proud moment not only for NDF but also for the entire community working for disability rights.
Mr. Abid Lashari expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed his resolve to continue strengthening rehabilitation services, expanding outreach to underserved communities, and advocating for inclusive policies aligned with national and international disability frameworks.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for continued success of NDF Pakistan in its mission to empower persons with disabilities and mainstream them through quality rehabilitation, education, and community support.
