Hyderabad: Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDC) previously known as OGDCL has generously donated a van for the special children of the DEPD–NDF Rehabilitation Center, Qasimabad Hyderabad. This significant contribution will strengthen mobility support and enhance access to rehabilitation services for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Sikandar Ali Shaikh, General Manager CSR, OGDC Pakistan, stated that it is the social responsibility of OGDC to facilitate the pick-and-drop services for special children enrolled at the NDF Rehabilitation Center, financially supported by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh.
Mr. Abid Lashari, President NDF Pakistan, expressed deep appreciation, noting that this generous support will make daily transportation safer and more convenient, enabling children to consistently access essential rehabilitation services without any barriers.
NDF Pakistan extends heartfelt gratitude to OGDC for this impactful contribution towards empowering children and promoting inclusive development in Sindh.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Imam Ali Abbasi, Regional Director OGDC Hyderabad Region, emphasized that together, OGDC and NDF will continue to work for a more inclusive and compassionate Pakistan—from the grassroots level to the national level.
Mr. Barkat Ali Sohoo, CSR Officer OGDC, and Mr. Tariq Hussain Channar, Program Manager NDF, were also present during the ceremony.
