Pakistan & Singapore to Strengthen Collaboration on Art and Disability Inclusion

Karachi: The Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA) Karachi hosted an inspiring dinner reception in honour of the visiting delegation from Maya Dance Theatre – Diverse Abilities Dance Collective, Singapore. The meeting marked a significant milestone in strengthening cross-border cooperation to promote art, culture, and disability inclusion.
Mr. Abid Lashari, CEO PDSA; Alishaba Aminuddin, Ambassador PDSA; and Dr. Iffet Sultana warmly welcomed the distinguished delegation, which included Ms. Kristin Van Burm, Ms. Kavita, Mr. Imran, and other esteemed representatives.
During the gathering, both sides engaged in meaningful dialogue on the role of performing arts in empowering persons with disabilities, particularly individuals with Down syndrome. The discussions concluded with a mutual agreement to work collaboratively on future initiatives aimed at:
