Nawabshah: The Nawabshah Press Club organized a grand reception in honor of Haji Abid Hussain Lashari, President of the National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan and renowned social activist on receiving Pakistan Civil Award Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
The event was attended by President of the Nawabshah Press Club, Muhammad Anwar Sheikh, General Secretary Musharraf Bhatti, along with a large number of senior journalists and members. Participants congratulated Haji Abid Hussain Lashari on receiving the Presidential Award and said that he is not only a source of pride for Nawabshah and Sindh but for the whole of Pakistan.


Speakers highlighted that under the leadership of Haji Abid Hussain Lashari, NDF Pakistan has been providing remarkable services for many years in the fields of education, rehabilitation, and the promotion of rights for children with disabilities and special persons. Through his tireless efforts, modern rehabilitation centers have been established in Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, and Nawabshah, where hundreds of children are being provided free treatment, therapy, and education.
The speakers added that receiving the Civil Award is not only a great honor for Haji Abid Hussain Lashari but also for Nawabshah, and in particular, for the journalist community as well. Mr. Ismail Domki, Haji Abdullah Bhatti, Amjad Arain, Abdul Latif Khaskheli and others also spoke on the occasion.
