Social Welfare and Trust (SWAT), a society of International Business Management (IBM), celebrated Universal Children’s Day with children with Down syndrome at the Pakistan Down Syndrome Association (PDSA).

KARACHI: The event was filled with joy as children enthusiastically participated in painting, singing, fun games, and other recreational activities. Refreshments were also arranged, creating a lively and cheerful environment where children expressed happiness and confidence.

Ms. Laiba Tariq from SWAT appreciated the efforts of PDSA and said that children with intellectual disabilities are receiving quality rehabilitation services at the PDSA Rehabilitation Center, which enables them to actively respond and participate in such activities. She emphasized that children with disabilities can excel when given proper learning opportunities.

Ms. Neelam Rajput, Project Manager at PDSA Pakistan, shared that PDSA regularly organizes healthy and engaging activities to promote inclusion and celebrate events like Universal Children’s Day. These activities help enhance the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children with disabilities.

The celebration concluded with smiles, creativity, and meaningful interaction, reflecting PDSA’s ongoing commitment to empowering children with intellectual disabilities.
