NDF in collaboration of IOM distributed Shelter NFIs in Nawabshah. Abid Lashari vows to continue efforts to reduce the vulnerability of flood affected people.
NAWABSHAH: National Disability and Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan in collaboration with the International Organization of Migration (IOM) distributed 100 Shelter NFIs in UC Khadhar, Tehsil Sakrand District Shaheed Benazir Abad. Mr. Abid Lashari President NDF said that 03 months passed on flood 2022 but the condition is unchanged. People are living in an open sky, winter starts shelter less people need cold weather protection, 500 shelter NFIs donated by IOM which will be distributed among needy people but as scale of flood is high same need is also high, International, National, NGOs, philanthropists should extend their scope of services to reach unheard voices to cater their needs especially most vulnerable like people with disabilities, Old Age, Transgender and minority groups. Mr. Abid Lashari added that this is a very difficult time but we have to deliver in terms of shelter, protection, health, education, rebuilding and other sectors. NDF Representatives Mr. Manthar Ali Magsi, Mr. Mir Hassan Chandio and Asghar Jamali were also present during the distribution ceremony.
