Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Mr. Zahid Hussain Rind visited NDF Rehabilitation Center for children with intellectual disabilities here in Nawabshah. On this occasion, Mr. Zahid Hussain Rind appreciated the efforts of NDF and said that the NDF organization has shown great service by providing rehabilitation services for the children of Nawabshah at their door step.
He termed NDF Rehabilitation Center as God gifted facility to the children of Nawabshah. He assured his all possible support for the stability of the rehabilitation center in Nawabshah. Earlier, Mr. Abid Lashari President NDF, Mr. Tariq Hussain Channar, Program Manager, Ms. Saira Lashari, Director NDF Rehabilitation Center, briefed about the free rehabilitation services available in Nawabshah Center such as physiotherapy, psychotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and non-formal education. He further informed that this facility is for 100 children which has been made possible with the help of DEPD Government of Sindh and other institutions.
On this occasion, Mr. Abid Lashari urged the government and other relevant institutions to provide possible support to continue and expand the mentioned services in remote areas of Sindh. The Deputy Commissioner also distributed clothes and shoes among the children.
