Chicago/Nawabshah: The 39th Annual Convention of the Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) organized in Chicago, USA. NDF Pakistan was invited to present its services for mentally challenged children in Sindh. During the presentation President NDF Mr. Abid Lashari said that NDF is engaged in rehabilitating more than 200 children with intellectual disabilities in Sindh, in which two Rehabilitation Centers are established in Nawabshah and Larkana to cover remote areas of Sindh.
The Children with intellectual disability such as Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and CP are being provided free rehabilitation services like Psychotherapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Non Formal Education with Boarding and Day Care facilities at remote rural areas of Sindh.
SANA Representatives Dr. Maqbool Ahmed Halipoto, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Rajpar, Dr. Khalil Ahmed Memon, Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed Memon, Dr. Ijaz Turk and other members highly appreciated the work of NDF Pakistan Nawabshah and assured it’s possible technical and financial support. On this occasion, President of NDF Pakistan presented gifts of Ajrak and Sindhi Topi (Cap) to the central leadership of SANA and paid thanks for the invitation in the Convention and acknowledgment of NDF social services in Sindh.
